Wild Roots Youth Nature Club

MTRI started the Wild Roots Youth Nature Club in 2022 with funding from the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation. This is a free program designed to spark curiosity  and foster hands-on connections with nature. Through visits to markets, libraries, schools and special on-site events, youth have the opportunity to explore the natural world, learning about Nova Scotia's species at risk, their local ecosystems and their place within it.
