We invite presentations on conservation topics relevant to environmental stewardship, community engagement, and the research, monitoring or management of Species at Risk and ecosystems in Kespukwitk/Southwest Nova Scotia. We encourage participation from members of the Kespukwitk Conservation Collaborative, academic researchers, students, young scientists, citizen scientists, and other individuals and organizations working on related conservation projects across Atlantic Canada. Those interested in presenting an Oral Paper (15-minute talk) or a Poster (printed, maximum 4 x 4 ft), must submit an abstract of their presentation by October 30. Submitters will be notified about a space on the program in early November. Accepted abstracts will be posted on the conference website.
Cash awards ($100 and $50) will be presented to the top student oral and poster presentations!

Oral presentations will run from 9am to 4pm, with lunch, snacks, and refreshments provided between sessions. A poster session open to the public will take place after the presentation sessions conclude, from 4pm until 6pm.
